Family Travel in Yosemite National Park | RV Living and Full Time Travel With Kids

One of our favorite things to do as a full time traveling family is visit national parks! After being on the road for 4 years we still hadn’t made it to Yosemite National Park. We were so excited to finally be here and to start exploring. We get asked a lot about what to do in National Parks with kids that aren’t use to hiking we are hoping this video will give some ideas around things to do when traveling with kids to national parks!

On our first full day in Yosemite we visited Glacier Point then went on 2 hikes (one 2 miles on less then half a mile) and explored the Pioneer History center. Yosemite is a beautiful park and is an amazing Family Travel location! Through RV Living we have learned that we really enjoy staying in the national parks and were able to get a spot at the North Pines campground. It was well worth it and we highly recommend staying in the park!

This is our first of multiple videos on Yosemite so stay tuned for the next one!

Places we visited on Day 1 in Yosemite:

Glacier Point
Taft Point Hike
Pioneer Yosemite History Center
Chilnualna falls

We are living in an RV while we take a 5 month roadtrip up the west coast! Check out our playlist here:

GREAT Video ya’ll! Gotta give props to my “injured” brother for making the trek up that trail! I can relate with physical injuries & unfortunate limitations. But, I am still doing what I can do and what this ol’ body will let me get by with. 🙂 Making us more excited about visiting the area.

Hello from Pismo Beach Ca. area. You traveled through here on your way to Morro Bay. I just wanted to say that it is so awesome that you guys are doing all this traveling and sight seeing with your young kids. I spent as much time as I could going out and camping with my son when he was younger and I am so happy I did!! Now that he is entering his last year of high school he has so little time available for he and I to go out like we used to. Time goes by so fast. Cherish the time you have with them.

john hernandez thank you! We really are trying to enjoy the time with them as we know it goes fast! I can’t believe our oldest will be 11 this year. Time flies. I hope you and your son get in some camping this summer!
